Why Visit Fox Ridge Farm?
Our farm has pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats, a donkey and a mule. Students will see and interact with the animals as well as learn lots of fun facts about them. A frequent highlight for the kids is feeding the pigs and chickens food from the Loop program, which diverts Superstore’s food waste from the landfill to local farms. We will have interactive activities for kids (i.e. learning about products that are made from pigs, and many more). They can also learn about various aspects of life on the farm, such as how we compost our manure and our animal husbandry practices.

About our Farm
We are developing our farm to meet the demand for local food and provide food security for the Yukon. Our main focus is providing quality pork to food processors and Yukon customers year-round. We also raise laying hens to sell farm fresh eggs, as well as free range chickens, turkeys, and ducks for meat. In the spring, we sell piglets to other farmers. Our orchard is now producing raspberries, haskaps, saskatoons, and crab apples. Our garden and greenhouses are in full production in the summer.

Directions
Travel to the Takhini gas station on the North Klondike Highway and turn left onto the Takhini Hot Springs Road. Travel 5.5 km, then turn left onto 3 Mile Road. Fox Ridge Farm is the first driveway on the right at #1 Three Mile Road.
